Sunburn by Chloe Michelle Howarth

Two girls in love.  Or, maybe, just one.  Chloe Michelle Howarth's Sunburn is the choice for September's Queer Reads Book Club at the Nevada Public Library.  This story of first love in rural Crossmore Ireland circa 1990 portrays what happens when you find out you're not who you're expected to be.  

Queer Reads is an adult book club (18+) celebrating the diverse voices of queer authors, characters, stories, and journeys. Join us each month as we celebrate queer storytelling and foster the discovery of new ideas and unfamiliar life experiences. The group meets every 3rd Wednesday at 5:30pm at Madelyn Helling Library. You can get free copies of the book at your local library.
