Nevada County Pride is excited to announce the 2026 Pride Family Fest, formerly known as the Pride Family Picnic. The beloved annual gathering returns on June 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Condon Park Pavilion in Grass Valley.
Now in its fifth year, Pride Family Fest continues its tradition of offering safe, joyful, youth-centric celebration for families, friends, and LGBTQIA+ allies across Nevada County and beyond.
Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with activities for all ages, including:
• Live music
• Games
• A bounce house
• Aerial arts performances
• Face painting
• Free family photos
A free community BBQ and cake will be provided, with gluten-free and vegan options available. Guests are also encouraged to bring a side dish for the community potluck.
“We’re thrilled to continue growing this event as a welcoming, affirming space where families and young people can connect, celebrate, and simply enjoy being together,” said Danielle Vanaman Nevada County Pride Board Member. “Pride Family Fest is about joy, community, and supporting one another — and we can’t wait to share that with everyone again this year.”
The event is made possible with the support of generous community partners and sponsors committed to uplifting and celebrating LGBTQIA+ youth and families across the region.
