Gay Day at The Yuba

Gay Day at the Yuba

Gay Day at the Yuba is an annual event where the LGBTQ+ community gathers to frolic, swim, reconnect with old friends, and meet new ones, in a beautiful clothing-optional environment. The location is Hoyt’s Crossing on the South Yuba River, north of Nevada City, California. For complete information, please visit https://gaydayattheyuba.org .

We also invite you to kickoff the weekend at our DJ Dance Party event at The Fern in Nevada City on Friday night.

Can you Volunteer on Monday for Yuba River Clean-up?

The weekend of August 2-3 brings almost a thousand men from all over California to the Yuba for Gay Day at the Yuba @ Hoyt's Crossing. Although we hope all the visitors to the Yuba will be sure to pack in and pack out all their trash, we are looking for a few volunteers who can go to Hoyt’s Crossing on Sunday, August 3rd at 5:00pm or Monday August 4th at 10:00 AM at the 49er bridge to clean up any trash left behind. We want our queer community to be viewed as good stewards of the Yuba!

SYRCL will provide garbage bags, buckets, gloves and trash pickers. We are looking for 2-4 volunteers. If you can help out for a few hours (and enjoy a swim in the river!)

If you can help, please let me know if you prefer to help on Sunday at 5pm or Monday at 10am.

Please e-mail info@nevadacountypride.org.

Thanks in advance for helping to keep the Yuba River clean for everyone to enjoy!
